The Michigan Medical Cannabis Program currently includes many qualifying conditions that will validate patients in the state to utilize cannabis. To apply to become a registered Michigan Medical Cannabis Patient you will need to complete the application found here. The second page of the application will need to be completed by a certified doctor or doctor of osteopath in state. On their portion of the application they will need to choose one of the following categories that includes a qualifying condition in which you have been diagnosed with.
These are the current qualifying conditions per the Michigan medical cannabis program.
Cancer
Glaucoma
HIV positive
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
Crohn’s Disease
Agitation of Alzheimer’s Disease
Nail Patel
A chronic or debilitation disease or medical condition or its treatment that produces 1 or more of the following:
Cachexia or Wasting Syndrome
Severe and Chronic Pain
Severe Nausea
Seizures (Including but not limited to those characteristic of epilepsy)
Severe and Persistent Muscle Spasms (Including but not limited to those characteristic of multiple sclerosis)
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Arthritis
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Spinal Cord Injury
Colitis
Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Ulcerative Colitis
Parkinson’s Disease
Tourette’s Syndrome
Autism
Chronic Pain
